While the world is seemingly turned upside down these days, we decided to join two unlikely forces to benefit the Bay Area community and employees affected by COVID-19.

County Line Harvest owner David Retsky teamed up with Got Light owner (and much more handsome younger brother), Jon Retsky to offer farm fresh produce to San Franciscans.

County Line Harvest was started in 2000 by David Retsky on just six acres in Northern California on the Marin-Sonoma County line. Since then the Petaluma farm has grown to 30 acres and a second 120 acre farm in Southern California.

Got Light began in 2003 by Jon Retsky in a Russian Hill basement turned lighting workshop.  Today, Got Light occupies over 35,000 square feet of warehouse space, producing over 900 events and galas per year.

Today, while County Line has been able to bring back their workforce for a huge demand in CSA farm boxes throughout California, Got Light has furloughed 120 employees and temporarily shuttered their operation until people are ready to party within one to five feet of each other.

County line has the produce, and Got Light has the operation to support it!   Together as Got Harvest,  we are helping serve the Bay Area who are hungry for farm fresh produce and want to “Veggie in Place”.
